About the Show

Long before the one-and-only Adam Carolla became known for his work in television and radio, he was a bona fide carpenter working with a crew of his misfit friends. Adam’s self-described "horribly ill-fated plan" for the The Adam Carolla Project is to buy a house with his own money, renovate it with his crew of "unemployable idiots," as he describes them, and then try and sell it for a million dollars.

The premise is simple, but here’s the twist: this is Adam’s boyhood home. He’s tearing into personal history as he takes this house down to the studs. And as the renovation progresses, viewers go behind the scenes in Adam’s crazy life at work and at play. They follow along as he launches a new television show, continues to work on the infamous Loveline, attempts to conceive a child with his beautiful wife, Lynette, and generally dishes out his original style of humor and advice on family, relationships, homes and just about everything in between.

Dubbed "the busiest lazy man in history" by his friend and business partner Jimmy Kimmel, Adam is at the helm of the crazy crew tasked with the renovation project. From Oswaldo, the lovable Nicaraguan who only Adam can understand; to Ray, the group jokester who likes to do masonry projects in his bare feet; to Gary, who lives off the grid in the backwoods, miles outside Los Angeles, this motley crew of supporting characters ups the comedic ante as the project unfolds.
