This native New Yorker's inclination towards interior designing was inherent. Being the oldest of seven, keeping the house in order and in style was no mere task. Valerie single-handedly redesigned their bedrooms, sewing all the bedspreads, curtains, pillows and faux painting color wash on the walls and ceilings.
Valerie's trademark is her unique "Garage to Glam" approach, demonstrating that you can decorate for less by looking at objects and spaces beyond their basic function. "Think out of the box" is Valerie's motto. She masters the art of turning "used" into "usable," giving objects and spaces a new purpose and a new life.
