Larry and Jessica's home is a work in progress. Despite moving into their home almost 2 years ago, they still have many items in boxes, or strewn about their living room and office. It's up to organizer Peter Walsh to help Larry and Jessica decide which of their numerous collections of memorabilia they want to display, and which can actually be considered expendable clutter.
Designer Molly Luetkemeyer has some bold ideas to help accentuate the collections, and make the rooms come alive with color. During the purging of their things, Peter confronts our couple with a particularly scary find. He discovers bills buried in the clutter that contain personal information that could be dangerous if it were lost or stolen. Peter helps our couple set up a mail and file system to make sure this type of thing never happens again.
But, will Peter be able to get Larry to finally give away his 20-year-old stereo speakers that Jessica hates? Can Molly pull off the two rooms new funky color scheme, and give Larry and Jessica the dynamic spaces they desire? And what causes one of our couple to take ill during the sorting process? Tune in to Clean Sweep and find out.
