It's all about family on this episode of
Clean Sweep. Family is the number one priority for Steve and Katherine, so much so that they moved Steve's business into a room in their home so he could be closer to the kids. The mess this new closeness has created is filling their living room, has started to creep into Steve's office, and effects his ability to do business.
Organizer Peter Walsh's challenge during the purge is to get Steve and Katherine to a place where everything they keep will help the family stay organized, and allow Steve to entertain clients and fellow employees in their home office. Designer Valerie Bickford and carpenter Eric Stromer have some solutions for both rooms that help meet the home's dual needs. A window seat/storage unit for the living room provides the order the family craves. The creation of a seating area in the office, helps give it the professional feel Steve's clients demand.
Will Valerie's designs bring about the marriage of form and function that these two rooms need? Can Peter help our couple get rid of enough items to propel this dynamic family into a bright and orderly future? Tune in to find out.
