Childhood sweethearts Sara and Peter have spent decades collecting stuff from their many years together. Now it's time to only hang onto the memories and let go of the litter.
The rooms that plague them most are their disastrous book-filled bedroom and their embarrassment of a home office/guest room. If anyone is overdue for a Clean Sweep, it's Sara and Peter. Organizer Shelli Alexander has her work cut out for her when it comes to dumping Sara's collection of books and Peter's unridden bicycle.
But the fireworks really begin when Sara is asked to part with a frightening human-sized stuffed Tweety-bird, an item that her son won once-upon-a-time at a neighborhood carnival. Inside the house, designer Angelo Surmelis and carpenter Eric Stromer create a versatile trundle bed for the guest room and whip up a relaxing window seat for the bedroom.
But what about Tweety? Will Sara let him fly? Or will he remain in his cluttered cage? Stay tuned to this colorful episode of Clean Sweep and find out.
