When Grant and Jessica moved in together, the clutter in their two lives began to take over the office and master bedroom in their tiny home. With limited space and the need to maintain several large items, the challenge for the Clean Sweep team was one of the biggest ever.
Host Tava Smiley takes on the challenge as she dives into the couple's giant keep pile and helps them pare down some of their smaller stuff. Organizer Peter Walsh joins the fray and begins by taking on the issue of the large furniture head on. The couple is determined to keep their massive desk, chairs, bed and dog kennels, and Peter is stymied in his attempts to get rid of these bulky items as the couple declares victory.
Inside, Designer Angelo Surmelis is forced to incorporate these over-sized pieces into his new designs for the office and bedroom. Angelo teams with Carpenter Eric Stromer to create several new features for the rooms, including a new bedroom closet for grant, and new covers for the two dog kennels.
Will Peter be able to convince this cluttered couple to get rid of anything, or has he finally met his match? What special items from Grant's past end up at the yard sale? And what is Jessica going to do with that giant stuffed bear that was a gift from Grant's old girlfriend?
