Charles and Sonny's home is overrun by unused clothing and their children's toys. They can't even get into their bedroom closet. Thank goodness the Clean Sweep team is here to help them reclaim their home as a space for the whole family.
Host Tava Smiley takes us on a tour of the couple's living room and master bedroom. The living room is awash in toys, and they can't seem to get a handle on getting this mess organized. The rooms are emptied, and the Clean Sweep crew gets to work.
After going through the couple's items, organizer Peter Walsh finds that Charles seems to have an addiction to holding on to empty boxes and Sonny is fed up with it. Sonny's attachment to her giant stuffed bear is yet another symptom of the couple putting the kids first and themselves second. Inside, designer Angelo Surmelis is creating a new look in the living room that will reclaim it as an adult seating and guest area. Carpenter Eric Stromer is taking Angelo's designs for a new romantic space to the limit and helping bring some much-needed storage space back to the master bedroom in the form of a new armoire.
Does the Clean Sweep team have what it takes to make Angelo's vision a reality, or will the project prove too ambitious? Will Peter be able to get Sonny to give up her much loved stuffed bear, or is he barking up the wrong tree? And what happens when Charles and Sonny search for the kids' favorite toys? Tune in to this kid-friendly episode of Clean Sweep to find out.
