Edward and Teresa's house is buried in collectibles. They can't set foot in their spare room and their home office is too messy for work. Luckily, the Clean Sweep team is prepared to get their spaces into shape.
Host Tava Smiley walks us through the couple's home office and spare room. By the time Clean Sweep is through, the home office will be their boys' room, while their spare room will function as the new office. The rooms are emptied, and the Clean Sweep team gets to work.
Organizer Peter Walsh goes through the couple's items, and finds that Teresa is sentimentally attached to everything from old baby clothes to Star Wars collectibles. Her reluctance to decide which of these items matters most to her is causing most of their chaos. Inside, designer Angelo Surmelis is transforming their overcrowded rooms into fun and multifunctional spaces. Carpenter Eric Stromer builds a craft cabinet in record time and fulfills Angelo's vision of cleverly designed shelves for the boys' room.
Can the Clean Sweep team bring Angelo's designs to fruition, or are the rooms doomed to a lifetime of clutter? Will Peter convince Teresa to let go of her collectibles in order to set a good example for her kids? And what happens when Edward tries to save his old USMC gear from the yard sale? Tune in to this space-swapping episode of Clean Sweep to find out.
