Trevor and Karen's home is overflowing with items they either no longer use, or can't use because they are buried. Books and sports memorabilia dominate their spaces, but none of it has been properly displayed. Their bedroom is overwhelmed by a chair they now use as a laundry hamper and a floor full of magazines. Thank goodness the Clean Sweep team is here to help them out.
Host Tava Smiley leads us on a tour of the master bedroom and office/guest room, and is stunned by the amount of books and magazines that dominate the spaces. The rooms are quickly emptied so the Clean Sweep team can get to work.
Organizer Peter Walsh meets our couple outside. We find out that Trevor is keeping his books for work, and that he has a plan for the magazines. We also learn that Karen loves her sports stuff, and doesn't want to let any of it go. Many of the items carry the players' signatures and were gifts that she and Trevor gave to one another. Inside, designer Molly Luetkemeyer has come up with a sports theme for the office that will help them display their memorabilia, yet still let the room function as a guest bedroom and office. Carpenter Eric Stromer is building a two-level TV cabinet for the bedroom that will double as storage for their gym bags.
What game does Peter play to help the couple get rid of the hundreds of golf balls they own? What special touch does Molly add to the office to help our couple get back into the swing of things? And what is that thing Trevor competes so hard for in the yard sale? Tune in to this hard-swinging episode of Clean Sweep and see for yourself.
