Experiments Gone Wild
small text
large text

Wendy and Geoff are a kooky, creative couple whose projects have taken over their home. Their living room is buried in glass bricks and way too many couches. Their home office is full of unfinished dining room chairs and props for Geoff's short films. Now, Clean Sweep is here to aright these two rooms and to teach Wendy and Geoff to finish what they start.

Host Tava Smiley walks us through the couple's cluttered home office. Geoff doesn't feel he can be creatively inspired in the overburdened room. Next, Tava shows us the living room, which is so full of Wendy's home improvement projects that they can barely reach their pet turtle anymore! The rooms are emptied, and the Clean Sweep team gets crackin'.

Organizer Peter Walsh sorts through the couple's items, and soon finds out that Wendy's "experiments," (as she calls them, have been driving Geoff up a wall, though he hasn't been able to tell her. Helping them to communicate better, Peter gets Wendy to set limits on the number of projects she has going at any one time. Inside, designer Angelo Surmelis picks up on the couple's original personalities and transforms their rooms into exciting, inspiring spaces. Carpenter Eric Stromer polishes his geometry skills to build two angular, stylish end tables, as well as a storage unit that can only be described as a "wedding cake made of wood."

Can the Clean Sweep team surprise this unpredictable couple? Will Peter help Wendy let go of some of her unfinished projects? And will their pet turtle like his new place in the redesigned living room? Find out on this wild and wacky episode of Clean Sweep.
