Donna and her sister Andrea live with Donna's daughter, Tyler, in one messed-up house. Their den has become a dumping ground for the family junk, and Tyler’s room has become the keeper of the overflow from the den. Clean Sweep is here to help Tyler reclaim her room, and help get this family back on the organizational path.
Host Tava Smiley takes us on a tour of the den and Tyler's bedroom, and soon finds out that these spaces are barely useable, let alone organized. The rooms are emptied, and the Clean Sweep team gets to work.
Organizer Peter Walsh meets our couple outside. He discovers that Andrea's 1,500 VHS tapes are a major part of the problem and Donna's clothes are taking over everyone else's space. Inside, designer Molly Luetkemeyer is reclaiming the space for Tyler's bedroom by having a local artist create a one-of-a-kind headboard for the room. Carpenter Eric Stromer is using Molly's plans to build a standing desk area in the den to create a work/craft environment that the whole family can use.
Will Molly's plans give Tyler the comfort and privacy she desires? Can Eric complete Tyler's new bed in time? And what causes Andrea to have a breakdown when sorting her tapes? Tune in to this family-loving episode of Clean Sweep, and see for yourself.
