Andy and Tracy both work in the world of feature animation. Too bad the organization in their rooms has been drawn up so poorly. Their rec room is serving as a storage shed, and their office/library is so stuffed, they won’t even let their 2-year-old daughter in there for fear she'll hurt herself.
Now, the
Clean Sweep team is here to restore the couple's love for the rooms they once had. Host Tava Smiley takes us around the rec room, which is filled with unused sporting equipment, three couches, and piles and piles of empty boxes. Their office/library is the reason Andy and Tracy bought the house, but now it has become a dumping ground for anything they don’t have room for elsewhere.
The rooms are emptied, and the team gets to work. Organizer Peter Walsh meets our couple outside, where they plow through the family's artwork and Andy's model car collection. We soon discover that while their marriage may be 50/50, Tracy thinks Andy doesn't help out enough around the house. Inside, designer Kelli Ellis re-orients the rec room to bring back its sense of fun. Meanwhile, carpenter Eric Stromer works hard to create a shelving-and-desk combo for Kelli that will help restore the office/library to its prominent place in the home. What item in the sort does Tracy claim "saved her"? What is the team doing in the family swimming pool? And what happens when Peter challenges Andy to play for some of his cars?
