• Your past does not need to invade your present, but shouldn't be forgotten either. Honor your past with a few mementos or special items, but remember to live for today.

• Having a designated place for laundry, and a set system for getting it done will help keep it off the floor, and help keep your space looking and smelling fresh.

• A guest room needs to be inviting for guest. If you have frequent or long-term guests such as exchange students, don't use the room for storage when they are gone, it will make it harder to figure out what to do with the items when your guests return.

• Making time for others, especially children, can be very rewarding and fun, but don't forget to make time for yourself. You need some attention too.
