Tips & Tricks
From Tackling the Toys

• Limiting the number of toys kids have in one room can help cut down on clutter. Get your children in the habit of putting their toys away, and they will have the skill for a lifetime.

• Plastic plants help cut down on cleaning and care, but a live plant can help make a room feel fresh and new.

• Boxes are often not needed to return items to a store. Keeping empty boxes just creates clutter and dust. Throw them away once you use an item and know there are no problems with the item working properly.

• Kids are important, but if their clutter is starting to affect your relationship, then it may be time to take a step back and put yourself first. Then you can be in a better place to take care of your children.

• "Floating" shelves work well at keeping a desk area neat and organized. They also help to hide the hardware, giving your room a crisp and clean look.
