Tips & Tricks
From: Doing It For Mom

type size: [A] [A] [A]

• Holding on to things for "someday" is only going to make your house messy today. If it isn't relevant to your life at this moment, get rid of it, and live life for the here and now.

• Setting limits for kids helps them learn about values. If you set a limit to the number of toys they can keep around, they will learn about priorities and what is really important to them.

• A home-based business is a great way to make extra money. But make sure you have the room for what you want to do. Keep in mind your available work space, or run the risk of having your business take over your home.

• Trying a "Clean Sweep" of your own? Get the whole family involved. A large project tackled alone can be frustrating, but many hands make a big project go faster. It's also a great way to work together to make your house a better space for everyone.

• If someone asks you to "hold on" to something for them, set a time limit. If they don't come for it, or forget it's even there, you may get stuck with it. Get it out of your space, and stop making your home a dumping ground for other people's trash.
