She has also appeared in feature films, working with some of the industry’s most acclaimed directors, including Barry Sonnenfeld (The Wild, Wild West), Woody Allen (Celebrity), James Toback (Two Girls and a Guy) and Wim Wenders (The Million Dollar Hotel). Frederique has covered the New York scene as a correspondent on the Metro Channel’s New York Central and continues to host special segments for Extra and Fox News Channel in the United States as well as myriad television programs in her native Holland. A frequent MC at live events, she was also The Mole in the celebrity edition of ABC’s popular television series shot in Hawaii. In addition, she co-starred in the stage production of The Vagina Monologues in Washington, D.C., and has taken on the double role of producer and host of television specials, including World Class With Frederique, for the Fine Living Network, and The Ultimate Holiday Towns USA, for A&E.
Her latest distinction was having her native country, Holland, name a lily after her: Frederique’s Choice. Inspired by the honor, Frederique produced and hosted a show called The Invisible Journey With Frederique, which traced the journey of flowers from grower to bouquet. The show aired on the Travel Channel in 2005. Three more episodes are scheduled for production in Fall 2006.
She continues to model and travel. Frederique has a daughter named Scyler.
