Before

A New Orleans resident most of her life, Saran was recently displaced by Hurricane Katrina and has since found herself in NYC, having to start completely over.  

A gut feeling told her and her parents to leave the night before they lost everything they had in the Katrina floods.  After spending years working in the arts to help create careers for others, she is taking her move as a sign that she should pursue her dreams:  making her own jewelry, and possibly doing some modeling.  

She is incredibly upbeat about everything and talks about how it must be God's plan to have her doing something different.
