Psychic ability runs in Farah’s family. She’s a third-generation psychic; her mother and grandmothers were also psychic. Farah grew up in Turkey where doing coffee readings (similar to tea leaves readings), communing with spirits, and having dreams that predict the future or shed light on the past are the "norm."

Farah remembers having always been able to sense the existence of ghosts/supernatural beings around her since her earliest memories. As a small child, she was able to astrally project herself.

As a teen, Farah went to Istanbul's Center for Metaphysic and Parapsychological Investigation to develop her natural abilities. Entry in the institute is limited, and its facilitators quickly recognized Farah as a very strong psychic.

While studying at the center, Farah learned to become a hypnotic-trance medium. This practice enables her to go into a deep hypnotic trance and channel spirits and entities who speak through her. She never remembers the experience upon coming out of the trance.
