Susan’s foray into the world of the paranormal began in 1981, when she participated in her first class in Jose Silva’s Mind Control Method and experienced the true potential of directed visualization. She went on to study soul travel based on the principles of Eckankar, as well as mediumship and western movement, of which Susan was a devotee for 10 years. She has studied a variety of healing arts, including Muriel and Jin Shin Jyutsu. In 1995 she became a Reiki master.

Susan later formed the paranormal group Ghost Watch. She spent many years running the group and conducting investigations throughout the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut). During this time, she used scientific equipment as well as her intuitive abilities to develop effective ways of properly cleansing and clearing homes of unwanted activity. Susan eventually began working with Deryl Mitzen, whom she met in 2001. She now assists the Preternatural Research Society as both an investigator and an intuitive.

Susan has also been in private practice since 1994. Her work includes private treatment sessions, which address patients' physical and/or emotional issues from this or other lives, as well as counseling serious seekers to develop their psychic and mediumship abilities.
