Turn off the stove, fix yourself a cocktail and settle down for a mouth-watering culinary competition as five complete strangers battle it out for the title of consummate dinner party host!  

Each week, five amateur cooks will take a turn hosting a dinner party for the other four in their home. This is entertaining with edge as at the end of each evening the guests award points in three categories: food, presentation and entertainment.  

The host with the highest score out of a possible 120 points at the end of the week wins $1,000!  

Each contestant thinks they have what it takes to impress the competition, but since the marks are given in secret, none of them knows whether their evening was perfect or pathetic until the last dinner is served and scored.

Can the hosts rise to the challenge and write themselves into the recipe books, or do they reach boiling point too soon and make a dog's dinner of their party?
