Recipes: Ginger Tea

Ginger Tea

Ingredients:
1 hand ginger, sliced 1/4-inch thick (about 2 cups)
4 cups water
2/3 cup sugar

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, and simmer gently, stirring, until sugar has dissolved and the ginger flavor is pronounced, about 15 to 20 minutes. 

Strain; serve hot or cold.
