When Capitol Hill interns Christie and Julie traveled east for a semester-long study program in Washington DC, they had apprehensions about their housing situation.

"You can imagine how reluctant we both were to live with someone we didn't know," remembers Christie, who had never crossed paths with Julie on their large Michigan State University campus. As their internships took off, though, so did their friendship... but their sense of fashion etiquette lagged far behind! "We're definitely recognized as interns instead of employees," this duo admits.

With the semester's farewell reception just weeks away, these casual co-eds want to prove once and for all that they have panache to match their newfound professionalism!
