Identical twin sisters Melinda and Melissa are accustomed to attention when together in public. "We were in McDonald's last week, and people stopped in their tracks to stare at us," Melissa says incredulously. "We've somehow started to look more alike in the past year," Melinda adds. "It would be nice to not constantly be referred to as 'the twins.'"

Mirror images aside, outsiders have reason for identification mix-ups: Melinda and Melissa hold equal positions with the same company (as social workers and early interventionists with Easter Seals) and share a home along with Melinda's five-year-old daughter, Devin. "People always say, 'Wow, you're twins… and you live together? And work together, too?!' And then it's impossible for them to see us individually," Melinda laments.

Fortunately, Melinda and Melissa's approaching birthday is one ideal setting for two transforming makeovers that will give new optimism to the big 3-0!!!
