DANEEA BADIO
  DANEEA BADIO – Social Worker, Poet

Working with the homeless in Cobb County, Ga., Daneea demonstrates a passion for supporting and making a difference in others' lives. As the director of emergency services at Travelers Aid, she has been exposed to the harsh realities behind many issues affecting today's society. In addition, Daneea and her mother, Marquerite King, started Single Parent Connection Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides workshops and seminars to teach single parents how to elevate their families’ lives. Whether it’s overcoming the challenges of homelessness, domestic violence or divorce, Daneea takes every opportunity to share her gift of motivation and inspiration.

CORNELIOUS
  CORNELIOUS "SEE" FLOWERS – Poet

While See currently resides in Atlanta, his family and baby boy live in Chicago and he still calls the Windy City home. Raised by a single mom in a tough part of Chicago, he and his siblings were deeply affected when she was murdered in 1994. His mother believed that poetry was his calling, and See has followed that path. Combining hip-hop and divine inspiration, See's modern version of this ancient art displays his passion and enthusiasm for performing his original works. One of his most poignant poems, "Stand," underscores the importance of standing up for what you believe in.

KENT HEALY
  KENT HEALY – Author, Student, Youth Adviser

Although he was born in California, Kent was raised halfway around the world in New Zealand, where he learned to surf, dive, snowboard, wakeboard and play rugby. By age 15, Kent and his younger brother Kyle had started their own surf/skate/skim board business. The two later wrote a popular advice book for teens, Cool Stuff They Should Teach in School. With the assistance of his family, Kent now devotes himself almost entirely to motivating teens and young adults through his writing, appearances and audio series.

IMAN MAFI
  IMAN MAFI – Financial Adviser, Muslim Youth Lecturer

Iman has lived a well-traveled life. He has called Iran; State College, Pa., Albany, N.Y., San Diego, New York City, and Los Angeles all "home" at one point or another. After a stint on Wall Street, Iman is now a financial adviser in Los Angeles. Following a spiritual rebirth in his early 20s, Iman decided to focus his energy on doing the best he can for himself and his community. This commitment has led Iman to presenting at mosques and talking with youth groups about the importance of charity, being a good human and giving back to the next generation.

KAREN MICHEL
  KAREN MICHEL – Filmmaker, Meditator, Yogi

Karen currently lives in Los Angeles and has a diverse background Her job experiences range from filmmaker and mediator to yogi and former Raiderette. Karen’s films are often spiritual and service-oriented. They cover topics like healing the inner child, ending poverty and promoting women’s safety. In addition, Karen’s regular personal practice of hatha yoga, spiritual spin and meditation embodies her strong belief in recharging not only one’s body, but mind and spirit as well.

FLOYD NOLAN
  FLOYD NOLAN – Student of Spiritual Development

A California native, Floyd comes across as laid-back. However, there is a lot of deep thinking behind his gentle and sincere smile. Reading Jonathan Livingston Seagull as a child marked the beginning of Floyd’s spiritual journey. Since then, some of life’s biggest philosophical questions have fascinated him. A self-described "truth-seeker," Floyd exhibits the traits of a traditional spiritual devotee, including his "no-frills" lifestyle and fondness for prayer and solitude.

ANGELICA OSBORNE – Actress, Apartment Manager

Angelica comes from a family of strict Methodist preachers in Birmingham, Ala., and the strong accent is still there even though she’s since lived in South Carolina, Ohio and New York. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Spence, and her 9-year-old daughter. An aspiring actress and writer, Angelica has performed her autobiographical one-woman show in New York and Los Angeles. Full of energy and humor, Angelica has taken the difficulties in her life and molded them into a refreshing life philosophy.

ROBERT RUTHERFORD
  ROBERT RUTHERFORD – Minister, Carpenter

Pastor Robert Rutherford is the consummate family man. Located 55 miles outside Atlanta, his camp, Rock Fellowship, houses not only his wife and their 11 children but also an ever-changing extended family from all over the geographical and spiritual map. Muslims, Jews and Christians, along with the homeless, are all welcome at Rock Fellowship. Robert has played with a Christian rock band for the past 20 years, and the experience shows in his entertaining, thought-provoking speaking style.

DARRYL VAN LEER

Darryl, a husband and father of two, leads what would appear to be a conventional life. Residing in a small suburb of Nashville with his family, he is an artist, musician and youth choir director for his Baptist church. But Darryl has a remarkable talent that sets him apart – the ability to mimic the voice, style and delivery of some of this nation’s most powerful speakers. Zahava was raised an Orthodox Jew, but she has now chosen her own religious path and embraces all aspects of spirituality. Through her life, she has taken challenges such as drug and alcohol abuse and turned them into opportunities to help herself and others. Several years ago she had a spiritual awakening. Now Z and her partner, Isaac, operate the Hessed House, a recovery community for those seeking a spiritual path. Its residents include recovering addicts, runaways, the homeless and the spiritually needy, in Carlsbad, Calif.
