Erik and Christine decorated their four-bedroom Victorian in rich colors with formal details, but new owners Glenn and Lisa want to strip the house of its stuffy décor and give it a "funky farmhouse" style. Glenn and Lisa spent lots of time giving their home a relaxed feel with muted tones and flea market finds, but new owners Martin and Victoria want to give the house a wild kick with bold colors and unique tiles. Emotions will run high when the former owners get to see the changes in their old homes!
Couple A: Martin and Victoria
Martin and Victoria have been living in an apartment on the upper east side of Manhattan. With twins on the way, one bedroom just won't cut it anymore. They are excited to move into Glenn and Lisa's two family houses, and they plan to convert the structures into one large home. Their design calls for big construction and bright colors, but with Victoria on bed rest and Martin working overtime, the renovations might not be as easy as they think.
Couple B: Glenn and Lisa
Glenn and Lisa have two girls and are longing for a bigger space. They are relieved to be moving into Erik and Christine's four-bedroom Victorian house with a big back yard, but they aren't so thrilled with the décor. They have a lot of work ahead of them in order to transform this formal home into a "funky farmhouse."
Couple C: Erik and Christine
Erik and Christine have raised four kids in their home and have spent a lot of time and money giving it a formal European flair. Although they are finding it hard to say goodbye, they know that they've outgrown the space and need to move on. What will their reaction be when they see how their beloved home has been transformed?
