Maya and Brad have decorated their home with hand-painted murals and exotic details, but their cherished Indian inspired guest room is a little too different for Kerri and Chris. They have dubbed it the "naughty room" and plan to nix it as soon as they move in. Kerri and Chris have a much more traditional style in their current house, but new owners Lara and Steve can't wait to tear down the unappealing paneling and gut the rundown kitchen. When the old owners come back to see the changes, will they want their old homes back… or wish they'd never come back?
Lara and Steve
Lara and Steve are engaged to be married, but are still living in his parents' basement in Long Island where Steve has lived his entire life. The time has come for them to finally have their own space and move past his childhood style. Lara and Steve are excited for their very first home, but they have their work cut out for them with lots of construction. Since the couple is saving for the wedding, they'll be doing everything themselves without the help of contractors.
Kerri and Chris
Kerri and Chris have their hands full with four kids! Kerri is a full time mom and Chris has a job that involves lots of travel. Their youngest daughter was born with Spina Bifida and they are moving to a new ranch home which will make it easier for her to get around. They want to expand their new living room into the two-car garage — which means tearing down Maya and Brad's exposed brick wall. Kerri and Chris think their house needs a complete design overhaul in order for it to feel like home.
Maya and Brad
Maya and Brad have put so much work into their home — right down to the very last detail. Maya is originally from Turkmenistan and brings an exotic flair to the Indian-themed guest room, hand-painted rainbows in her daughter's room and a red boudoir/walk-in closet. The couple and their two children are moving to their dream house with a swimming pool, tennis court and outdoor cabana. Maya and Brad plan on creating and decorating a Moulin Rouge inspired "Ooh-La-La" room.
