Travis is a young guy who wants to be a cop. He also wants to have a top custom of a '63 Ford Falcon; instead, he has his old and dying variation on that theme. But the A-Team of Chip Foose, Shaun Boulay, Kirk Heinbuch, Jim Lunger, John Hudson, Brad Beltinck, Chris Bennett, Kirk Swanson, Shane Reichhardt and Dave Shussherba are going to grant Travis' wish regarding the car, while Overhaulin' is gonna grant his other wish and let him play cop.

Once we get his car, Travis is told that scam artists who plan on collecting big tow and storage fees have towed it. Working with our insider, Travis' mom, Dee (an actual police officer), Overhaulin' positions Travis to be the key man in a sting of this phony tow ring. Setting a big stage and creating a big play, Overhaulin' sends unknowing but eager cop-wannabe Travis to the dirty tow yard to hand over the requested cash; once that goes down, we send in the law; instead, we send in the message that he's been Overhauled.
