The Superteam of Jeff Georges, Phil Brewer, Jimmy Kerlin, Bobby Mikus, Gregg Bond, Bill Cate, Kevin Byrd, Greg Coleman, Carl Richmond, Bryan Fuller, Revo and Zack Merril joined team captain Chip Foose at the world-famous SEMA show in Las Vegas. SEMA, one of the world's largest conventions, is the Super Bowl of auto parts and accessories shows, and there at the center of it all was Overhaulin', redoing a 1970 Mustang for a local Vegas man.
The mark's name: Barry. Barry's son Brent was Overhaulin's insider, spinning yarns and making up the lies. The whopper that started it all had Brent losing his dad's much-loved Mustang by way of a gambling debt. As the team worked on the car in the spotlight of the SEMA show, Barry met a few of our Overhaulin' "players," posing as shady characters who wanted to strike a deal regarding Barry's Mustang and "Brent's debt." As the deal was finally struck, the car was completed. Barry later arrived at SEMA for the shock of his life.
