Scott Air Force Base: Ash Creek

For this episode on Scott Air Force Base, designer Kia Steave-Dickerson goes with a "Military Chic" theme in the combination living and dining room. She begins the transformation with three shades of gray paint - one for the living area, one for the dining area and one for the molding. Kia's technique not only opens the room but also allows for better delineation between the two spaces. The design gains momentum when a camouflage wallpaper border and camouflage pillows are added to the room. The final straw for the already military-centric homeowners? Kia uses a parachute to create the room's curtains.
