Miramar: Avenue 164

When Florida homeowner Adina signed up for Trading Spaces, she asked that her "bland black-and-white" kitchen be updated with vibrant colors — reds, yellows and greens — to remind her of a "Bahama Breeze" restaurant. Designer Doug Wilson does not disappoint. Adina's cabinet doors are removed, wood strips are added to provide texture, and each door is painted in Adina's three chosen colors. The walls are painted a soft green and accented by a darker shade of the color on the dining table's vase.
