Common Area: Dorm Hall
The common area of this boys' dorm hall was lacking color and school spirit when designer Edward Walker arrived on campus at The University of Arizona at Tucson. The walls were sterile and in typical college fashion, furnished with hand me downs from previous residents or family members. Edward began his room transformation by painting the walls cardinal red - one of the school colors. Red fabric was hung along the walls to give the room an added punch of color. Dividers were brought in to separate the eating area from the television area. Carpenter Ty Pennington completed the look by building and installing a modern, sleek breakfast bar.
