Boston: Institute Road

This large multipurpose room was a challenge for designer Frank Bielec and team. The room was used as a TV room, music room and library. The room had lots of characteristics but little color or style. Frank painted the walls a coffee color with ivory trim. He updated the entertainment center by painting the doors gray. The carpet was pulled up and a stone mosiac tile was installed in its place. Frank made the seating area a more inviting place to read a book by updating the furniture with inviting plaids and dark green fabrics. To give the room an added punch of color, Frank painted the walls of the music area red.
