Scott Air Force Base: Ash Creek

To this day, Trading Spaces fans are amazed that Doug Wilson moved two cars into this little boy's room on Scott Air Force Base. In a room he calls "Route 66: My Way or the Highway," Doug uses gray and yellow paints to create a winding road on the walls and ceiling. While one car is used to house the child's bed, the second is gutted and used as a storage chest. An existing child-size table and chair set is painted to resemble a railroad crossing sign. Finally, Doug and his team paint road and highway signs on the walls.
