Pennsylvania: Bryant Court

Laurie's plan for this little girls' room in Philadelphia is to introduce "bold, girlie colors" while giving the girls a room they can enjoy now and grow into. Green walls come to life with hand-painted zinnias in shades of pink, yellow and green. Laurie paints the girls' existing furniture yellow and white to match her color palette. Fabric used in padded headboards is also used in throw pillows and blanket trim. To complete the room, carpenter Amy Wynn Pastor builds two monogrammed, open-top boxes for stuffed-animal storage.
