Austin: Wampton Way

Sexy, mature and classic are perfect adjectives for Genevieve Gorder's family room in Austin. Inspired by the Taittinger champagne advertisement that hangs over the mantle, the color and texture of the walls reflect the bubbly nature of the drink. Taffeta curtains cascade from floor to ceiling. The couches are lean and sleek like the woman in the advertisement. The room's palette is accented by burgundy pillows on the couches and a burgundy throw rug on the floor.

Why did Gen find this reveal memorable? "My homeowner revealed himself (literally) to me and crew by running around the set with nothing on but a tool belt. I tend to encourage spontaneity, but I wasn't expecting him to take it that far."
