Dr. Michael Millie is a second-year surgery resident from Omaha, Neb. Unlike most doctors, Dr. Millie "graduated college not really knowing what to do … I bought a very run-down motor home with peace and love stickers all over it and spent a considerable amount of time just driving around the country." However, his freewheeling former lifestyle has helped him in his current job. "It did give me the ability to calmly jump into medicine, which is a pretty consuming profession."
