Pursuing a career in health care was a long-time ambition for Dr. Michael Foreman. He says, "I apparently have told people from childhood that I wanted to be a doctor. While I was in college, I thought I wanted to pursue medicine but was a bit frightened away by the size of the task. I didn't think I was smart enough or good enough to learn the vast amount of information needed. I took an EMT class in college because I needed the credits and started volunteering in the Local E.D. I was hooked from then on."
