Episode: Never Say Never
City: Oklahoma City, Okla.
Hospital: University of Oklahoma Trauma Center
Specialty: Trauma Director

Dr. Roxie Albrecht has only been the Trauma Director at OU Medical Center for six months, but she already runs the place like a well-oiled machine. She directs with authority, but can also be self-depricating. "I don't go away thinking, 'Oh, I did that great,'" she explains. "Rather, I go away thinking, 'I could've done better.'"

Dr. Albrecht is one of only 10 female trauma directors in the U.S. "I don't know when I became so dedicated to my job. If I had been this dedicated when I played softball, I would be a professional athlete by now."
