ER Attending Physician Dr. Wilkerson-Uddyback is seven months pregnant, but "I don't let this slow me down. I enjoy the work I do too much to stop." This Motor City native sees many assault patients. One of them, a man with a broken arm, becomes quite agitated and argumentative when told he needs X-rays. Dr. Wilkerson-Uddyback also sees a man bitten in the arm during a fight. "Detroit can be a tough place," she observes.
