Dr. Ross Tabbey is no stranger to DRH's emergency room. This attending ER doctor has been on staff here since 1985. "I went to med school here, did my residency and stayed," he says. "I grew up here and my family goes back about a hundred years. You could say it's part of my ancestry." Dr. Tabbey begins his night when nine patients from two different accidents who all arrive at once. He coordinates the surgeons, doctors, and nurses, and they separate the critically injured from the less so. Then it's on to a man who was shot in the mouth by someone who, he claims, murdered his wife and then tried to kill him.
