Nurse Practitioner Karen Leroy believes her role is an advocator for children and an educator of parents. In "Trick or Trauma" she has her work cut out for her, as she must overcome a language barrier with an Iranian father whose child has a high fever and is vomiting. In addition, Nurse Leroy stitches up a soccer player who has a deep laceration under his toe, and tends to a two-year-old with the croup.
