Arizona: East San Miguel Avenue

When Michael and Nancy first moved into their home, this sunroom was their favorite place to relax. But since expanding their family, they've had little time to expand the room's design. Designer Chayse Dacoda transforms this bland Arizona sunroom into a Roman bath as a surprise for homeowner Nancy. The walls of the sunroom are stark white and make the space seem uninviting. To warm things up, Chayse uses an abundance of rich fabrics in reds and golds throughout the room. The crew leaves the furniture intact but gives it an update by painting trim on the love seat to match the fabrics. Handyperson Leslie Segrete reupholsters the cushions for the lounge chairs and sews floor-length window treatments.
