Richmond: Montano's Mystery

Designer Mark Montano literally has no idea what space he will be designing when he shows up for this shoot. Upon learning that he'll be designing a new patio space for this homeowner, he springs into action. First, the crew quickly prunes the weeds covering the brick flooring. Next, the mildewed fence is cleaned and whitewashed. Carpenter Andrew Dan-Jumbo builds a trellis to attach to the brick wall. Leslie Segrete sews linens and seat cushions for a table and chairs won by the homeowner. Lots of exotic flowers are placed in oversized planters, and the homeowner's quaint iron table and two chairs are restored and painted a vibrant yellow. For the final touch the crew adds an umbrella with a post resembling the Eiffel Tower.
