Toronto: Indonesian Winter Garden

Elisha wants to add some exotic flair to her friend Lisa's garden since she loves traveling to Asia. The back deck is a good size but lacks any design and the yard has little landscaping. Designer John Bruce gets to work on transforming the back yard into an Indonesian winter garden. First, he maps out a plan for a pea-gravel pathway leading from the back of the yard up to the deck. The crew whitewashes the wood on the deck and creates a fountain-like rain curtain out of copper sheeting. Then Jason Cameron builds a Balinese teahouse structure, and Leslie Segrete works with John to create a stepped-rock garden using lattice and exotic stones.
