Dani's rugged husband Ryan has a collection of mounted animal heads that Dani absolutely refuses to allow into the house. However, she would like to give Ryan the kind of atmosphere that can soothe his hunter's soul — without the taxidermy. Ryan's boss Wayne is in on the surprise, and has scheduled a road trip through Oregon, Washington and Montana for the two of them. Posing as Wayne's cousin is a member of the While You Were Out team, capturing footage to be used in the quiz portions of the show under the guise of being interested in getting into the business. With Ryan out of the picture, it's time for interior designer Chayse Dacoda to step in and help Dani turn their living room into an outdoorsman's paradise. The white walls are painted brown, wooden beams are fastened to the wall, and the fireplace is changed from tile to a rustic stone — and wait to see what she does with an antique wagon wheel. A new storage area and stereo cabinet is made with the help of carpenter Andrew Dan-Jumbo. Handyperson Leslie Segrete helps put together a teepee for Ryan and Dani's young son. With many projects left to complete, Dani unexpectedly learns that Ryan will be home much earlier than expected. She frantically works to throw any detour Ryan's way, but it's no use ... he's unreachable. Will the While You Were Out crew finish the room before Ryan gets home?
