Roommates and cousins Marian and Sarah have been sharing a house for the last nine months. Both girls happen to be hooked on reality television. Marian bought the new house, and Sarah has helped her clean and decorate every step of the way. Marian feels it is time to show her gratitude. To do this, she enlists Sarah's boyfriend to take her to see the Seattle Mariners and do some sightseeing. A member of the While You Were Out team poses as the producer of a Seattle tourism video to film them at each attraction, secretly garnering information for the pop-quiz portions of the show. Meanwhile, landscape designer Mayita Dinos helps Marian create Sarah's big surprise — a tropical island setting fit for reality television. The backyard is in bad shape, so Mayita has her work cut out for her. Carpenter Andrew Dan-Jumbo and handyperson Leslie Segrete are enlisted to create a couple of chaise lounges and shade structures for relaxation. Mayita has included a sandy fire-pit space with tree-stump seats, next to a small pond and working fountain. Mayita also has planned a horseshoe and archery range in the old dog run. The design seems to be flawless, but plans change when they start to second-guess the archery range. Tune in to see how Mayita rectifies the situation!
