Former Olympic gymnast Scott Keswick contacted us to help surprise his wife Michelle with a newly decorated living/dining room.
Scott and Michelle met at UCLA where they were both scholarship athletes on the gymnastics team. Scott was a member of the 1992 Olympic Gymnastics Team. He currently works at a consulting firm. Michelle is a stay at home mom who looks after their two boys, Jacob (4) and Andrew (2).
Scott stated that he and his wife budgeted to do a room a year in their new home and that this year they started small — with the children's bathroom. Because the living/dining room is the largest room in the house it would have been the last one they tackled. Enter the While You Were Out team who are geared up and ready for action!
Designer Stephen Saint-Onge chose a contemporary theme for the room. He's designed a room that will allow Michelle to do her crafts and will allow space for the extended family to interact and relax. But first Stephen has to convince a nervous Scott about the horizontal band effect on the tall walls and blackening all the existing wooden furniture.
What will Michelle make of her new room, complete with a crafting space unit and transformed dining area?
