Marisa is a new mother and a graduate student in Finance. Her husband, Shane, has been working two jobs at a time so that Marisa can stay at home with their new 5-month-old daughter, Jordan. When Shane is not at work, he likes to enjoy himself in the outdoors and loves entertaining people at the house. However, their patio is not in any condition for his friends or his family to enjoy. It's up to garden designer Peter Bonsey, with the help of carpenters Leslie Segrete and Andrew Dan Jumbo, to transform their lack luster fenced-in patio into an open Blue Ridge Mountain retreat. Since the patio is a small, surrounded by rotting lattice work, and with the only decorations being a string of Christmas lights, our team has their work cut out for them. By creating faux rock around the patio and patio walls, as well as planting evergreens and creating a dry riverbed, Peter creates the lushness of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the desert of New Mexico. While Shane is fishing with the guys, Peter will be fishing through his design plan to help Marisa create Shane's dream patio. What will happen when Shane returns home from the weekend with the guys? Will he settle down in his Blue Ridge Mountain retreat, or will he run back to the lake and fish some more? Watch and find out!
