Vivacious daughter Regan has a cool mom named Rhonda who works too hard and never takes enough personal time. For Rhonda's 50th birthday last June, Regan purchased her something she has always wanted — a new drum set. Trouble is, the drums are still sitting in the box, with the skins untouched. Rhonda loves jazz and shares this passion with Regan's dad, David. To surprise her mother, Regan called in While You Were Out's designer Stephen Saint-Onge to create a room reminiscent of a New Orleans jazz nightclub — a special space where she can take the time to listen to her favorite music, and even play along on her new drums. Carpenters Andrew Dan-Jumbo and Leslie Segrete work with Stephen to transform the attic space. The trio will create a jazz-themed room filled with a melody of colors that include shades of dark blue with red and purple accents. To get mom out of the house for a few days, Regan has arranged for dad and family friends to take her on a trip to the Beau Rivage Resort in Mississippi. To keep tabs on them, our secret cameraman will pose as a videographer creating a promotional video for the resort. But Regan worries that Rhonda might figure out this scheme because mom is so intuitive; plus, Regan isn't very good at keeping anything secret. Can Regan keep a lid on it? Will our While You Were Out band lay this track down in time? Or will Rhonda and Dave be-bop into the house in the middle of the session? Tune up … and listen in.
