Parul and Ambarish, who emigrated from Gujarat in India 18 years ago, have gotten used to the American style of outdoor living. However, their screened-in porch is still used for storage and their deck has only two plants. Their eldest daughter Puja desperately wants to turn their screened in porch into an area for relaxation and the deck for entertaining.

While they're out cooking up some vegetarian specialties at a cooking school, designer Mayita Dinos and the WYWO team will be cooking up a bit of Hindu tradition themselves, as they convert this porch and sun deck into a Hindu Sanctuary.
